Meet the T1D Exchange
The T1 Exchange is changing type 1 diabetes.
You should know what it is and why it matters. Conveniently Marie Schiller gave a presentation on exactly that at the JDRF Capital Chapter’s Research Summit and I had a camera.
Sadly, I also had a little camera malfunction an lost a few minutes in the middle. I was able to grab the missing bit from a video stream at a lower quality. So, my apologies for the drop in audio and video but I am confident that what matters, the great work of the T1 Exchange come through fine.
This is from the same event as Top 10 Things We Don’t Know About Type 1 Diabetes. It runs about 30 minutes and the power point slides are worked in. Special thanks to the crew at the JDRF Capital Chapter who put this event on, in particular Elna and Delia. You two are brilliant.
I am a huge fan of helping the rank and file walkers understand how they are helping move to living better lives and a cure. This summit is unique in how well that is done.
Another long piece. I think it is well worth it.
Thanks to Johnson and Johnson for their role as the Presenting Sponsor of the event. To Tandem Diabetes Care for Hope Sponsorship. Kudos also go to Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Bayer Corporation, Novo Nordisk, Medtronic and Sanofi Diabetes for helping make this event happen.
Meet Maryam
YDMV features two pieces by Maryam. We have her at the #1 spot of the top 7 who are you wearing on the CWD red carpet.
